2. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which let a site keep small amounts of information on your device between page loads.

3. Strictly necessary

Authentication and session storage keeps you signed in to your workspace and maintains your session across page loads. Without it, the workspace cannot function.

Security and abuse-prevention storage supports rate limiting and protects forms from automated submission.

Preference storage records small interface choices, such as dismissal of the site announcement bar, so it is not shown again.

4. Analytics and advertising

Empire does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party behavioural profiling on the website.

If we introduce optional analytics in future, it will be described here and, where consent is required, requested before it is set.

5. Third-party cookies

Our authentication provider sets storage necessary to maintain your signed-in session. Our infrastructure providers may set storage strictly necessary for security and delivery.

We do not permit third parties to set advertising or profiling cookies through the Services.

You can block or delete cookies and clear browser storage in your browser settings.

Blocking strictly necessary storage will prevent sign-in and stop parts of the workspace from working. Because we do not set advertising or analytics cookies, there is no advertising opt-out to manage.
