Acceptable Use Policy
The standards customers must follow when accessing Empire, uploading information, connecting integrations, or using platform functionality.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy sets the boundaries for use of Empire. It forms part of the Terms of Use and applies to every user of an Empire account or workspace.
2. Lawful use
You must use Empire only for lawful purposes and in compliance with laws and contractual obligations that apply to you and your use of the software.
3. Prohibited content
Do not upload or process content that is unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, malicious, defamatory, or that you do not have the right to use.
Do not use Empire to facilitate fraud, impersonation, deceptive activity, unauthorised access, or other unlawful conduct.
4. Prohibited conduct
Do not attempt to access an account, workspace, record, system, or integration that you are not authorised to access.
Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written permission, and do not bypass authentication, rate limits, access controls, usage limits, or security mechanisms.
Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract the Services except through supported features or APIs and within applicable limits.
Do not copy, resell, sublicense, mirror, or present the Services as your own product without written permission.
5. Platform integrity
Do not place unreasonable load on the Services, generate abusive automated traffic, interfere with another user's experience, distribute malware, or use the platform to send unsolicited bulk communications.
6. APIs and integrations
Where Empire provides APIs, webhooks, integrations, or automation features, use them only with authorised accounts, supported methods, and reasonable request volumes.
You are responsible for credentials issued to your account and for systems you connect to Empire.
7. Security expectations
Keep credentials confidential, remove access for users who no longer need it, use appropriate device security, and report suspected compromise or vulnerabilities to support@empirekeep.com.
8. Reporting misuse
Report suspected misuse of Empire to support@empirekeep.com with enough information for us to review the issue.
9. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, limit features, suspend users, revoke API access, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary.
Where practical, we will communicate what happened and what may be required to restore access.
